I bring the message that God desires our honest sacrifice of praise so that He can be free to pour into us the things that will move us to the next plateau in Him. Beyond the Veil is a concept that the Lord revealed to me about being deep in worship. It is beyond the veil that God's presence is most powerful and potent. Never let your worship experiences stop behind the veil, but always strive to go deeper in God with every step you take.
Angélique Black McKoy is an accomplished singer, motivational speaker, preacher and author on her way to becoming one of our nation's popular worship leaders. Teaching the importance of worship as a lifestyle to achieve peace and success in life, she uses both words and music to demonstrate a message of the power of prayer, praise and worship.
At the age of 17, following extensive training at the High School for Music and the Arts, Angelique joined Grammy-award winning Love Fellowship Crusade Choir, under the direction of Bishop-Elect Hezekiah Walker. As a member of the world-renowned Crusade Choir, she ministered on many of the choir’s albums and was a featured soloist on the debut album Hezekiah Walker Presents the LFT Church Choir - leading the heartfelt, soulful selection You Kept Me. With the choir, she has provided background vocals for musical greats such as Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Donald Lawrence, Darius Brooks, Shirley Caesar, “Puffy’” Combs, Stevie Wonder and the late Ray Charles, just to name a few.
As Angélique's natural ability combined with the anointing, it soon became evident that God birthed the capability to lead others into His presence, so Bishop-Elect Walker appointed her Director, Worship Ministries of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle, The Kingdom Church in Brooklyn, NY. She excels in the Praise and Worship ministry through emphasizing the importance of taking worship to a new level. Angelique resides in Brooklyn with her husband, Bryan - also a Minister - and their daughter, Jaelyn Kennedy.

Going Beyond the Veil
It is beyond the veil that true healing and deliverance is found. In the presence of the Most High God -- not only do you find the fullness of joy…but you find the person God is trying to help you become. There is a person that God predestined us all to be. The bible says: “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” (Romans 8:30). It is in this hope that we strive to become the vessel that He created us to be from the mind of eternity. Some people struggle all of their lives to become a person of valor, one that makes others proud to be in their presence….touching the lives of others. That is the type of life that Jesus exemplified. His very presence changed people and pushed them to be better. Isn’t that what we all want – to be better? To be the kind of person that others choose as role models and examples?
There is a place in God that is so sacred and special that only the truly hungry will be able to gain access. The ordinary just won’t do. Why stop at the tip of worship and not take it to the next level? Why settle for a brief encounter with the Most High God when you can press beyond the entrance of worship and enter into a place that is all-consuming? Often, most people stop at the gate of worship where everything is comfortable and there is not much work involved on our part. It is God who blesses and responds to us; all He asks is that we come to Him with the same amount of willingness. It takes a hunger and thirst after righteousness to meet God in a place that transcends beyond who you are, beyond your current situations and all you have gone through, beyond all of your shortcomings and misconceptions, and most importantly, beyond your flesh.
Cultivating a Lifestyle of Worship
Explore how to make worship an integral part of your daily life in order to become the best person that you can be. Learn how to use the tools of worship to conquer pitfalls and challenges in life. How do you develop a truly lasting relationship with God? How do you get to the place where your worship is untainted by the cares of this world? When do you move from “as unto man” to “as unto God”? These are some of the questions that have plagued believers for centuries. It would not be considered worship if there wasn’t some sort of thoughtful, inspired groundwork involved. Theologians and spiritual philosophers alike have penned many a book diving into the subject of worship, giving every directive known to man on how to seek God in His fullness.
We spend so much time seeking the “hand of God” – meaning that we are always asking for something and looking for what God can do for us instead of how we can be of service to Him. It is time to seek the “face of God” - the part of Him that provides wisdom, guidance and instruction for the steps of your life. Knowing that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord (Psalms 37:23), how does a “good man” expect to receive the map for those steps? They come through relationship with God. When you cultivate intimacy with the Lord He begins to shed light on the path that will lead you to your destiny.
Alive with Worship!
Awaken the sleeping spirit within you in order to attain peace, joy and happiness in every aspect of your life. When seeking His face, we invite God to look deep into our souls and see us as we originated – vessels of honor created to give Him glory. When you seek the face of God, a relationship is built and developed and then, the blessings begin to fall from His hands into your life!
Be a Believer, Not a Beggar
Do you really believe God? Most of us throw around the saying “I believe God” like it is a tennis ball. For every hardship and trial it is so easy to say you believe Him after the work is done. But, do you really believe God? When you honestly believe God the seed of faith is all you need to allow Him to move on your behalf. An inkling of doubt will cause your worship to be held in limbo. God desires us to believe. Deeply rooted belief is what propels God to move on our behalf. The God we serve loves us so much and will do anything for us, but all He asks is that we believe in Him.
Everything you do must be done in the witness of God. We are to be examples that God can and will do exactly what He promises. The world will only follow you if you are going someplace worth wild. It is time that worshippers show the magnitude of God’s results through the outpour of their worship. When we worship, God moves and things happen.
When we worship God, it is expected that He will meet you at your needs. What tends to happen is that we continually bombard God with the same requests and needs over and over again – not realizing that He knows all our wants and will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Speakers all across the country spend countless hours finding different ways to encourage us to believe that God is our ultimate source. The bottom line is that without faith…it is impossible to please God.
